About us

Behind Steplands creations are Marga’s steps, a sensitive artist, curious about life and creative who looks at the world with respect through the window of multiculturalism, an aspect that is deeply linked to her origins. From a Spanish father and a French mother, she was born in Portugal. She is now settled in Barcelona after having lived and travelled in many countries, the source of inspiration for her creations. This has allowed her to connect, appreciate and communicate not only with words, but also with colours, symbols, images and traditions in a natural way.

Photographer with a master's degree in design and graphic communication, she has managed to combine her vocation as an artist, exploring her passion for visual, including the publication of a photographic book and the design of cultural and fashion products.

With the creation of Steplands, she takes on the challenge of creating different designs that convey her admiration for the cultures that have most influenced her, respecting the essence, history, craftsmanship and tradition from which they arise, always ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards.
